For skiers and snowboarders, Mt. Ashland’s community owned ski area offers terrain for everyone. If you are looking for powder turns, the steep terrain and 300” of annual snowfall is sure to please, while the groomed runs and friendly atmosphere provide fun for everyone.
Located a little further south, Mt. Shasta Skipark is a family friendly area with great views of majestic Mt. Shasta, and fun rolling terrain.
Cat Ski Mt. Bailey is the longest running backcountry snowcat skiing/snowboarding operation in the continental US. The scenic location, right next to Crater Lake National Park, provides a stunning backdrop to access some of the country’s best powder skiing. If you have the experience and the desire, Mt. Bailey has the snow and the terrain, with 600” of annual snowfall and 6,000 acres of guided big mountain skiing.
